We make a variety of Air Filters which can be fitted to both Forced Cooled Blowers as well as Heat Exchangers. Air Filters fitted to Forced Cooled Blowers are particularly challenging as they work in harsh conditions in the Sugar and Steel industries. A suitable Air Filter, along with its periodic replacement, helps in increasing the life of a motor. This helps in reducing the lifecycle cost of a costly DC motor, thereby helping Sugar and Steel Industries increase their profits.

Box Air Filters for DC motors

Application Industries – Sugar Industries, Rolling Steel Mills, TMT Steel Industries

Box type Air Filters - are widely used along with Forced Cooling Blowers. They can be either powder coated or painted. Filter Media also can be Synthetic Felt or High-Density PolyEthylene (HDPE) based on the specifications. Stainless steel or Galvanised Iron mesh is stitched with Filter media to give stiffness. They are protected on both sides by Expanded Metal. They are typically used from higher DC motor frame size ranging 200,225,250,280,315, 355, 400, 450,500, 560 etc. The design of these filters is such that the frame is mounted to Force Cooled Blowers once and only the Filter pads can be replaced every year.

Round Air Filters for DC Motors

Application Industries – Sugar, Sugar Industries, Rolling Steel Mills, TMT Steel Industries

Round Air Filters for DC Motors - are widely used with smaller forced cooling blowers. They are given an Electroplated finish for protection against the harsh environment. Stainless steel or Galvanised Iron mesh is stitched with Filter media to provide stiffness. They are protected on both sides by Expanded Metal. These filters are specifically designed to optimize the size and are typically used in Smaller DC motors. Some of the DC motor frames where these filters are used are 135,160, 180, etc. These round filters need to be replaced every year as an excellent high-quality Air Filter can increase the life of a DC motor

Panel Air Filters for DC Motors – are widely used in Heat Exchangers. Typical Heat Exchangers where Air – Air/ Water - Air Heat exchange happens needs a good quality Air Filter which can filter our minute Carbon Particles. These are painted and the Filter Media used in Synthetic Fibre. Stainless steel or Galvanised Iron mesh is stitched with Filter media to give stiffness. They are protected on both sides by Expanded Metal. These Panel Air Filters again needs to be replaced every year so that they increase the life of a DC motor.
